There is so much material to get through and the last thing you want to do is force your mind to do all the work as it's reading and re-reading a lot of material.A great way to help yourself when you're doing this is to combine your critical thinking skills with the more creative side of writing. You can start by thinking about how you're going to be using these facts or assumptions or facts and start to use them in a different way. Do you really need to use this assumption as an example again?Another great way to apply this is to look at the word you use in your essay and see if you can think of another more appropriate way to use that word. For example, did you use the word 'project' correctly the first time? This is a great question to ask yourself and it will help you think about how you can use words in your essay more effectively.Now, while you're writing on the essay take some time to think about the main parts of the essay and look at how you can re- frame some of the points you make. Here's an example, you're the editor of a newspaper - imagine you're working on the lead article about a new restaurant opening.What would you expect to read in this article? Would you expect to see a business plan, an illustration of some of the cooking techniques or a quote from a few customers?Or, would you instead just allow the writer to speak directly to the reader and let them tell you about the experience of going to the new restaurant? Anyways, take some time to think about what kind of ways you could add some additional information and analysis to the essay and take some time to come up with a method that you are comfortable with and that you feel you can use effectively on your next essay.
